Our Story
Griffin’s Neighborhood Auto Clinic first opened its doors in November 2007. What started as a one-hoist operation has grown into an impressive 11-bay shop that proudly serves the Farmington Hills community and beyond. Founded by Bill Griffin, a dedicated ASE Master Certified Technician with over 35 years of experience, the shop was built on a dream—and a whole lot of determination. After years of working for others, Bill decided it was time to create something of his own, and Griffin’s has been thriving ever since.
Driven by Customer Satisfaction
At Griffin’s, our success is no mystery—it all comes down to how we treat people. We believe every customer deserves honesty, respect, and high-quality service. That’s why we make it a point to deliver exceptional repairs while making sure every customer feels like they’re our number one priority. Whether it’s your first visit or your fifteenth, you’ll always be treated like part of the Griffin’s family.
Built from the Ground Up
Our team isn’t just a group of employees—we’re a crew that’s grown together from the ground up. Everyone here shares the same values and commitment to delivering dependable service with a smile. We work as one, focused on a single goal: keeping our customers happy, safe, and confident behind the wheel.
More Than Just a Shop
Owner Bill Griffin isn’t just a seasoned mechanic—he’s a passionate car enthusiast through and through. A lover of classic cars and motorcycles, Bill proudly owns a few of his own. His 1979 Pontiac Trans Am recently took third place at the 2025 Autorama and was featured in Hagerty’s “Drivers Club” magazine. It even made a cameo in Detroit rapper Hush’s 2024 music video, “Pain.”
Family Is Everything
When Bill’s not at the shop or polishing one of his classics, he’s spending time with his family. He’s a proud father of two grown daughters and the happy grandfather of five energetic grandkids. Family values run deep here, and that spirit of care and connection is something we carry into everything we do.
